The Hastings Raiders Boys Basketball Team jumped back to .500 at 2-2, following their 71-61 win over Hudson on Tuesday night. Head Coach Chad Feikema joined KDWA's Nick Tuckner before practice, on Wednesday afternoon.

The Holiday Train will be celebrting it's 15th anniversery this year with a stop in Hastings on December 12th at 4:30pm. This is an annual event is put on by Canadian Pacific Railway to raise money for local food shelves across the country. Not only is Canadian Pacific Railway trying to raise money, but they donate 1 thousand dollars to a local food shelter at each of their stops. Executive Director of Hastings Family Service, Chris Koop, told KDWA a little more about the Holiday Train.
Santa is a very busy man this time of year. On Tuesday, December 3rd, he was at King's Place in Miesville helping out with their 7th Annual Toy Drive. Lots of toys got donated and 1,350 dollars was raised for Hastings Family Service. Chris Koop talked to KDWA about how wonderful the event was and how thankful she is to everyone for helping make the Toy Drive a success.
This year's 16th Annual Gobble Gait raised a record amount this year. 3100 participants came out to run and walk to raise money for Hastings Family Service. Organizer and founder of Gobble Gait, Mary Fasbender, was over-joyed by exceeding the donation goal they had set for this year. KDWA got to talk to Mary about how the event
