VOLUNTEER SEWERS NEEDED: Although Mission Mexico 2009 is over a year away, preparations are already getting started. 750 cloth bags need to be made by the spring of 2009 to be made into school, health, and new mother kits. These kits will be distributed to families living on dumps in Juarez, Mexico and El Paso, Texas, as well as children in the Bendito Orphanage, and needy children in Juarez and El Paso. If you can sew a straight seam, your help would be appreciated. Material will be provided if needed, and there are many pre-cut bags that are ready to sew. PRESCOTT HISTORICAL SOCIETY NEEDS ITEMS: The Prescott Historical Society is in need of about a dozen empty computer paper boxes to store some of their archives in. Also, they could use a couple used four-drawer file cabinets, in good condition. The historical society is revamping some things in the historical archives and these things would be most helpful. WATER EXERCISE: Water exercise class meets at 8:00a.m - 8:45a.m at the Middle school. Cost is $2 for Senior Center Members and $3 for guests and non-members. No swimming experience is necessary.
THERAPEUTIC YOGA: Therapeutic Yoga classes will be held at the Hastings Area Senior Center. The classes take place Monday mornings from 9:30-10:45. Six week punch cards are available for $48. Pick up a free pass to try this once and see if you like it. call the Senior Center 428-0750 to register.
SENIOR CRIBBAGE: The Hastings Area Senior Center cards and games schedule for Monday includes: Cribbage at 1:00 PM.
BINGO: Bingo takes place Monday night at 7:00, at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Hastings. Everyone is invited, however you must be 18 years of age or older to play. Wonderful prizes will be available. Bring your relatives and friends to bingo. Enjoy a fun night out
NA: Narcotics Anonymous takes place Monday night at 7:00 at Christ’s Family Church in Hastings. Christ’s Family Church is located at 518 East Second Street.

Gamblers Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who help each other solve their gambling problems. There are no dues or fees for membership.
